My Story

I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, where I began learning English as a second language at the age of 6. By 13 years old, I had become fully bilingual and obtained an ESL teaching certification. My family's support and teaching not only took me all the way through college, but became a motivation to pursue another two languages: I studied French at the internationally recognized Alliance Française and am a self-taught italophone.

In 2008, I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Administration, a doorway leading to several positions in hospitality such as customer service/front desk agent, event planner, managerial assistant and quality control coordinator, at renowned resorts and luxury living communities in the DR. I worked closely with marketing and sales teams, and this exposure quietly ignited a professional curiosity that would slowly turn into a passion for communication and design.

I am ever curious about business and people. I am entrepreneurial and a problem solver. Over time, my marketing interests grew from graphics and media writing, to planning, strategizing, designing and launching diverse content. I have gone through social media coordination internships, consulting opportunities with local businesses and the privilege of opening my first business in 2014, the first multicultural hair salon in East Amherst NY, which continues to thrive today.

I have gone on to complete numerous trainings and certifications in digital marketing and business, and continue to take my craft further with love, joy and the vision to help people create brands that speak of the mark they want to leave in the world.
